Welcome to Cross Cultural Awareness

The course, "Cross-cultural Awareness," offers English language learners an introduction to different communicative practices on college campuses in the United States, in general, and at the University of Mississippi, in particular. During this course, students use media from the fine arts to explore definitions of culture and issues related to cross-cultural contact. On this blog, students discuss their own perceptions of cross-cultural differences by writing in different genres and supplementing their blogs with their own photographs and photomontages.
