8 MileThe overall colors used in the scene are blue and black. This can show us the style of the movie and we can understand that this movie is sad and depressing. Dark colors dominate with the only exception being Eminem's white t-shirt. The only light that there is in this scene comes from the spot light and it is focusing on the two rappers who rap battle and mostly to the main actor. This is being done by the director because he wants the people who are watching the movie to retain their attention to Eminem while he is rapping. If we consider his rapping as his way to express his feelings then we could say that the spotlight is on him to enlighten the viewers about how the main actor feels and underline his way of living and thinking. There is also an obvious opposition in this scene between black and white. Eminem is the only white guy in the place and he also wears a white t-shirt. On the other hand his opponent has black skin and wears a black t-shirt. This is happening to show that the main actor ''has to'' belong to another place but he resists to go into rapping against everyone even if he is not being accepted from the people of the rap world. All the people in the crowd are wearing blue colors and are black-skinned. That shows that they belong to the same league or to a team and they all have the same beliefs and motivations. To make my mosaic of this movie I used blue colors for the all the audience to show that they are all of of the same beliefs and belong to the same team(gang) except for Eminem's girlfriend. I used purple color for her -the same as Eminem's eyes to show their relationship. I also added a gray beam of light focused on the two rappers while rapping. I used white color to represent Eminem because he is the only white guy and I made his eyes purple to show his condition. I used brown to represent Eminem's rival because he is black-skinned and behind the two rappers in sky color is the man who counts the time. Moreover, I used a red thick line to represent the rivalry between the two men and I surrounded Eminem's figure with black color to show the hatred that overflows him.ChicagoInitially in the scene there is the main actress that gives color and brightness to her cell that should be darkish and depressing. After that she says her story and we can see her in the scene wearing red lipstick and a shining dress. The red color of the lipstick is likely to provoke. All the lights are on her and everything else is black while she is shining in her dress and distracts everyone's attention. The brights colors that are on her are there to show that she is the ultimate and the only star in the show and everything is about her and what she wants to do and say. Also the audience is being shown in gray colors to make us understand how much they admire the main actress who is probably the object of their passion. In the end her name appears in the scene with huge red letters probably to show her intense and passionate life and also her brightness and importance in the world of spectacle. These bright colors are used to show feelings such as happiness, passion and intensity. For this mosaic I used grey color to represent the audience because their only use is to enhance the main actress's brightness. I made the backround in dark color and in it I put the main actress to underline the fact that she is the only light in the dark and that she is being spectacular. I also added yellow colored lines around her to show that she is shining like the sun shines in a hot summer day. Finally I chose to add a red line in the white figure that represents the actress. This line represents her red lipstick that is used clearly to show the passion and the intensity which this woman emits.
