I divide my photomontage to two parts, one is Taiwanese icon and another one is American icon. On the right side, it’s Taiwanese icon, and American icon is on the left side. Taiwanese people usually act cool especially in the capital city, Taipei. There are many limits in our society. They always keep a distance from the others, and walk very fast. The relationships between them are always competition, so they don’t often care about the other people. They like money and prize. They think only rich people are successful. They look down on labor because labor can’t earn much money.

Another people we admire in Taiwan are doctors. We think doctor is a respectable job, and only the smartest students can be doctors. In Taiwan, patients respect doctor very much, and we go to see a doctors even just a cold. Patients have a very tight relationship with doctors. Doctor is often thought a hero in Taiwan. Besides, we respect old man, too. We think old people are treasure; they have a lot of experience in their life.

Let’s talk about the American icon. I feel that American advocate freedom. They don’t like to be limited. Children here are happier than in Taiwan; they smile even when they’re doing homework. Besides, they respect labor, cook and former as doctor. They don’t look down on them. They think health is as same as money and like to do exercise. They also think nothing is impossible, so they willing challenge tough questions. They believed they can success as superman even they just normal people. For example, Obama make his dream come true. Now, he is president of the United State. They let many people have the courage to fight for their dreams. They have much patient to their country; they willing work and fight for America.
